Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
What is Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM ?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is a Customer Relationship Management system that sits on top of the Microsoft M365 ecosystem.
A CRM solution tracks interactions and manages sales cycles between your Customers and your Sales Team.
Giving the whole team access to your sales lifecycle and incoming sales funnel so you can understand and manage your sales function.
As an M365 product, it runs on the Microsoft Power APP platform, with all its data held within Microsoft Dataverse. It means every screen and every workflow is fully customisable and integrated into Power Automate and Power BI (Business Intelligence).
It integrates fully into Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to seamlessly create an account or contact or automatically attach an existing email to a customer.
The mobile APP is sublime; every screen is customisable, so you can include fields for the additional information you assign to your customers.
As it integrates with Power Automate Integration, we can trigger Actions based on the data. For example, when a new customer buys a specific product, we can send them a series of onboarding emails.
SharePoint integration is standard to put your customer proposals or quotations into the same filing system that Non-CRM licenced users can access.
How is it licenced?
You can licence it as either Enterprise or Professional versions; both do the core basics that you would expect.
What modules come with it?
Both do the following; Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Activities, Campaigns, Marketing Lists, Products, Price Lists, Quotes, Orders and Dashboards
What comes with Enterprise licencing?
But Enterprise also does the following functions: Sales Goals, Territory Management, Forecasting, Product Families & Relationships, Competitor tracking, Configure and defining Teams, Sales Playbook, Knowledgebase, Embedded Intelligence and Business Units.
Also, there is a difference in how much heavy customisation you can do.
You can add a suite of elements as you require into your organisation and make them fit the way you work. These include the Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Commerce modules.
